MellowMe – Terms of Use (EULA)
These Terms of Use (“EULA”) form a legal agreement between you (“User”) and MellowMe (“we,” “us,” or “our”) regarding your use of the MellowMe mobile application (“Software” or “App”).
By installing or using the App, you agree to be bound by this EULA. If you do not agree, please do not install or use the App.
1. LICENSE
- The App is licensed, not sold.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use one copy of the App on a single device for personal and non-commercial purposes.
You acknowledge that:
- All rights in the App remain with MellowMe.
- This agreement does not transfer ownership of the App or any of its content.
2. RESTRICTIONS OF USE
- You agree that you will not:
- Copy, distribute, sell, or transfer the App to another device or person.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, translate, or modify the App.
- Create derivative works based on the App.Rent, lease, resell, or sublicense the App.
- Use the App for commercial purposes or unauthorized distribution.
Any attempt to do so is invalid.
3. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All content and intellectual property within MellowMe—including designs, graphics, logos, code, and written content—remain the exclusive property of MellowMe.You must not remove or modify any copyright or branding within the App.
4. DISCLAIMER OF WARRANTY
The App is provided on an “AS IS” basis, without any warranties of any kind.We do not guarantee:
- That the App will meet your requirements.
- That the App will function without interruptions or errors.
- That any content within the App is medically certified or guaranteed.
You assume full responsibility for your use of the App.
5. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MellowMe shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data
- Lost profits
- Personal injury
- Device malfunction
- Any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
For subscriptions, our liability will not exceed the amount paid for your most recent subscription period.
For one-time purchases, our liability will not exceed the amount actually paid.Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations. In those areas, this clause applies to the maximum extent allowed by law.

At MellowMe, your privacy is a priority. The app is designed to give you a safe and personal space for journaling and mood tracking. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is handled, and what choices you have.
Your Entries Stay With You
All journal entries, moods, and reflections are stored only on your device. MellowMe does not create accounts and cannot see or access your personal entries. If you choose to make backups using iCloud, your data remains in your private iCloud account. We cannot read or restore iCloud backups.
Backups
You control your backups. You may export your data manually and store it where you choose. If you enable iCloud backup, your information is encrypted and stored securely in your personal iCloud Drive. MellowMe never receives or accesses your backups.
Analytics
We use Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve the experience.
Data collected automatically includes app launches, updates, session duration, device model, operating system version, region or country, and anonymous installation identifiers.
We do not collect journal entries, mood logs, or anything you type.
Usage data is kept for about two months before deletion and is stored in aggregated, anonymous form.
Crash Reports
To improve stability, MellowMe uses Firebase Crashlytics.
Crash data collected includes crash traces, device type, operating system version, and anonymous installation identifiers.
We do not collect your journal entries or moods. Crash data is retained for about ninety days.
Contacting Us
If you contact support, we only collect the email address you use to send a message so we can reply. We do not use this email for marketing.
Your Choices
You may choose whether to back up your data. You may reset analytics identifiers in device settings. You may disable crash reporting in iOS Privacy settings.
Changes to This Policy
Updates to this Privacy Policy will be posted with a new last updated date. Continued use of the App means you accept the updated Privacy Policy.

You agree to indemnify and hold MellowMe harmless from any claims, damages, or losses arising from:

- Modify functionality
- Change access to premium features
For One-Time Purchases, MellowMe may modify, replace, or discontinue features due to technical, legal, or business reasons. Refunds are not provided unless required by law.
9. MEDICAL DISCLAIMER
MellowMe is a wellness and self-reflection app, not a medical tool.The App:
- Does not diagnose conditions
- Does not replace professional medical advice
- Should not be used in emergenciesChange access to premium features

10. SUBSCRIPTIONS & ONE-TIME PURCHASES
Subscriptions
MellowMe may be accessed through:
- Free Version – limited features
- Free Trial – full access for a limited time

Payments and renewals follow the billing rules of: - Apple App Store
These platforms may have their own refund and payment policies.
MellowMe cannot issue refunds for purchases made through third-party stores.
Monthly Subscription
- Billed automatically every 30 days
- Must be canceled before renewal to avoid charges
- Partial-month refunds are not provided
Yearly Subscription
- Billed as a one-off annual payment
- Renews automatically every 365 days
- No partial-period refunds are provided
One-Time Purchases (Lifetime or Feature Unlocks)
One-Time Purchases grant access for as long as the feature exists in the App.

- Users can evaluate the App during Free Trials or store-provided refund windows.If you do not cancel during the trial period, you will be charged by the platform.
Content availability may vary depending on your device and platform.
