There are a few possible reasons why in-app purchases might not be working on your device. Try these troubleshooting steps to resolve the issue:
- Delete the MellowMe app from your device.Check your internet connection: Make sure your device is connected to a stable Wi-Fi network or mobile data, as in-app purchases require an active connection.
- Verify your payment method: Ensure your payment details are valid, not expired, and have sufficient funds to complete the transaction.
- Restart the app: Close MellowMe completely and reopen it — this simple step can often resolve the issue.
- Update the app and iOS: Make sure both MellowMe and your device’s operating system are updated to the latest versions.
- Clear app cache and data: Removing cached data can sometimes fix purchase issues. Go to your device settings, select MellowMe, and clear the cache/data.
- Check regional restrictions: Some countries may restrict in-app purchases. If you’re in a region like China or Russia, purchases might not be supported.
iOS: In-App Purchases Are Disabled
Sometimes, the Premium upgrade button may appear disabled, preventing you from making a purchase. This usually happens if In-App Purchases are turned off in your iPhone settings or due to a minor system error.
- Go to Settings > Screen Time > Content & Privacy Restrictions > iTunes & App Store Purchases > In-App Purchases.
- Tap Allow to enable in-app purchases. If it’s already enabled, switch it to Don’t Allow and then back to Allow to reset the setting.
- Finally, restart your iPhone to make sure the changes take effect.
