How to Enter Mood Entries

MellowMe offers three ways to track your mood and emotions:

1. Track Your Mood (Quick Entry)
2. Write How You Feel (Text Journal)
3. Record a Voice Note (Audio Journal)
1. Track Your Mood (Quick Entry)
Step-by-step:
- Open the MellowMe app
- On the home screen, choose from 5 mood emojis:
๐ Great ย โข ๐ Good โข ย ๐ Meh ย โข ๐ Bad ย โข ๐ข Awful - Select emotions from the list (e.g., Excited, Anxious, Calm, Grateful, etc.)
- Choose intensity level (1 = very low, 5 = very high)
- Tap Save
What gets saved:
- Mood level (Great/Good/Meh/Bad/Awful)
- Selected emotions
- Intensity rating
- Date and time
2. ย Write How You Feel (Text Journal)
Step-by-step:
After selecting a mood (or independently), tap Write Note
- Type your thoughts, such as:
What happened today? โข How are you feeling? โข Any reflections? - Tap Save
What gets saved:
- Written text
- Linked to your mood entry
- Not collected: your journals or moods.
- Date and time
- Full text content
3. Record a Voice Note (Audio Journal)
Step-by-step:
- Tap Voice Note
- Tap the microphone to start recording
- Speak freely (share your day, feelings, or positive moments)
- Tap Stop then Save
What gets saved:
- Audio file (.m4a format)
- Linked to your mood entry
- Date and time

The Moments Page organises all your entries into clear sections:

- Tap Stop then Save

- Text-based reflections using Write How You Feel
- Shows: Written text, linked mood (if any), date & time

- Audio reflections using Record a Voice Note
- Shows: Voice note icon with play button, linked mood (if any), date & time
- Tap Stop then Save
